Farid said he was at his parents' house. - Qal Farid belli kan f daṛ waldi-h.

He inherited the house. - Huwa lli wṛet hadik d-daṛ.

His house is just across from the post office. - Daṛ-u ṛa-hi mqabla l-pusṭa.

His house was built of logs. - Daṛ-u kanet mebniyya b l-ḥṭeb. ~

I don't wear shoes in my house. - Ana ma nelbes-c s-sebbaṭ f daṛ-i.

I saw the house struck by lightning. - Ceft hadik d-daṛ ki ḍerbet-ha s-siɛqa.

Last night, my wife and I went to a friend's house for dinner. - L-bareḥ f l-lil, ana u meṛt-i ṛeḥna tɛeccina f daṛ waḥed ṣaḥeb-i.

Let's play house. - Iyyaw nelleɛbu bita.
