Pass, (verb), 1- (test), ǧab.

2- To pass up, (miss), fewwet, raṭa.


Examples:

No matter how hard he may work, he will not be able to pass the exams. - Mehma ikun l-meǧhud taɛ-u, ma ṛa-hu-c ṛayeḥ yeqder iǧib haduk l-mtiḥanat.


Examples (to pass away):

She passed away two days ago. - Ɛend-ha ɛamin melli tweffat.


Examples (to pass up):

Actors and politicians never pass up a photo op. - L-mumettlin u ṛǧal s-seyyasa ɛmeṛ-hum ma ifewwtu furṣa bac yetṣewwru.
